2026 digital detox notes
I don't think 'useless' websites and apps are the problem for me, it's more so using them in moderation.That ties in with improving time management so that I can do my hobbies.
Main problems:
- Turning off site-blockers to do stuff
- Not having proper 'fun tech time' schedule (this must be flexible according to my uni schedule)
- Phone in bed
Possible Solutions:
- Have a 'days without turning off site blockers' tracker (include in status posts) & reconfig. The site blocker times to uni schedule (create new BlockSite account)
- Reset smartwatch (not syncing with timezone, using it for alarm) & charge phone with laptop in living room, kitchen or basement
- Having multiple alarms go off so that I shut down my computer & actually go to bed
Hobbies to get back in touch with: Drawing, crochet, bookbinding, going to the library/on walks (two birds with one stone?), writing?
