people talk about ai the same way they talk about religion
People are quick to offer gen AI and religion as a solution to anything, and it pisses me off. Attempts to do so reject the tentative vulnerability and curiosity that comes with being human.
I understand that you believe your higher power is all-powerful, but you're human! I value your experiences and opinions! These 'better' sources lack reference for the human experience.
And the pushiness! I don't want to use your gen AI app, chatbot, browser et cetera. Don't ask me to come to your church, I'm doing my time.
I try to flee these interactions -- moving to the indieweb, barely attending church -- but these people still try to seduce me with thier unattractive ideas.
Why outsource ideas, experience, instinct? Why reject those uglier or 'sinful' parts in pursuit of being a conduit for the inhuman?
