work is overrr + projects i've been up to

I accumulated enough vacation days to take a week off, so I did. It was a pretty great summer experience (and by great, I mean, I think this is the best it's going to get). My team was really nice, and I managed to not be a wuss and make some connections.

Enough about work! I'm kind of glad its over. I can focus on more important things like my laundry and sleep and hobbies.

Sometimes, I won't crochet because I simply have no need to. But, I deserve to have fun, so I bought some yarn for me and my sister (she like to knit) and I've been having a pretty good time unwinding this big, red blanket that I bought and cleaned. I'm going to make it into a cardigan 1.

I FINALLY got around to making my pocket notebook tutorial. It's not perfect, but it's easy enough to follow along.I love making my own notebooks, even though it is very labour-intensive. It's a process that can take up to a month, depending on how much free time & energy I have.

I also finished another one of my digital minimalism zines. I like to make these whenever I find new strategies that help me stay off my phone. All I need to do is actually assemble it.

... Even with all this, I still have a hard time staying off my phone!

  1. I've been having a hard time finding fall and winter garments for a decent price. This is what I've resorted to.
